Cologne for artists

  

In the midst of a natural landscape of pine forests and a steep area, a small colony is proposed for artists from different artistic fields. Because of the dense vegetation of the environment, the intensity of light flowing through the branches, is valued as the main determinant of the project... Based on this, and the height of the terrain, some laws are established in order to organize the layout of the colony. The program has common areas and basic unit-workshops based upon sound architecture linked to silent spaces of music, landscape and light.
